To support our learners, GISS Training offers Placement Assistance or Placement Assurance as complimentary services for eligible programs. This Placement Policy outlines the procedures and guidelines governing various aspects of our placement assistance process. This policy applies to eligible learners in India who enroll in and successfully complete eligible hybrid learning programs (primarily those included in GISS Training's TechMaster Certificate Program portfolio and as specified on the GISS Training website), unless otherwise stated by GISS Training.
By participating in the GISS Training Placement Process, you agree to abide by the terms of this Placement Policy along with GISS Training's User Terms and Conditions. We may periodically update our policies, and we encourage you to review the latest version on the GISS Training website.
"Learner" refers to an individual who is enrolled in a GISS Training course or program.
"Alumni" refers to Learners who have completed a program with GISS Training and have been granted
"Alumni Status" To apply for placement opportunities, an Alumni must be registered on the GISS Training Portal. However, being an Alumni does not guarantee a fixed number of placement opportunities, Career Assistance, Career Preparedness, Placement Assistance, Placement Assurance, or participation in the Placement Process managed by GISS Training for Learners.
"Career Assistance" refers to the range of assistance and support activities that GISS Training offers to its Learners (excluding Alumni) on eligible programs to help them prepare for their career and provide them with job opportunities with Companies. This encompasses career services, including Career Preparedness and job placement opportunities.
"Career " includes career support provided by GISS Training to any Learner from the time of enrollment. Following is a non-exhaustive list of activities included in Career Preparedness:
"Company" refers to an organization selected by GISS Training to participate in Placement Drives for its Learners and Alumni.
"Placement Assistance" refers to facilitating job opportunities for eligible Learners and Alumni through placement opportunities listed on the GISS Training platform or special Placement Drives arranged by GISS Training. Career Preparedness/Career Assistance or Placement Process support will not be provided to Alumni under the Placement Assistance. GISS Training may provide reasonable support to both Learners and Alumni at its discretion.
"Placement Assurance" means facilitating job opportunities and providing Career Assistance and Career Preparedness to eligible Learners based on this Policy’s eligibility criteria. Placement Assurance is exclusively available to GISS Training Learners who have enrolled for eligible hybrid learning programs, as stated on the GISS Training website, and received Career Preparedness and Career Assistance from GISS Training in their placement preparation process. Under this Placement Policy, GISS Training offers a specific number of placement opportunities to eligible Learners. If a Learner fails to secure a job opportunity during Placement Drives, GISS Training provides 2-3 months of boot camps or refresher courses to help them obtain a suitable placement. It is mandatory for unplaced Learners to participate in these sessions to take advantage of additional placement opportunities. If, despite completing the boot camps or refresher courses and participating in the Placement Drives, a Learner remains unplaced, then GISS Training will not be able to guarantee placement for that Learner.
"Placement Drive" is an event where interested Companies with career opportunities participate to place GISS Training Learners and Alumni.
"The Placement Process" is an end-to-end process where GISS Training and the Learner coordinate from registration for Placement Assistance to arranging job interviews.
"Pre-Placement Offer" refers to any offer made by a company to our Learners undergoing a capstone or regular internship through GISS Training.
Any grievances, disagreements, or allegations regarding this Policy will be resolved by the Lead of Career Services at GISS Training. The decision made by the Lead will be conclusive and binding. The contact email address to raise a dispute is placement@gisstraining.com
The courts of Delhi only shall have jurisdiction for the matters pertaining to or emanating from this Placement Policy.
